Structuring Partnership to Fund Your Next Deal!

  • March 14, 2017
  • 5:30 PM
  • Fayetteville Courtyard Marriott

You've heard the quote: I'd rather have 1% of 100 Deals than 100% of one Deal.

In March we'll bring you a Panel of Pros to show you how to set up your ventures with other Investors.

You'll learn how to:

  • Evaluate partnership interests based on differing criteria, e.g. non-monetary contributions, skilled labor and other assets
  • Make presentations to lenders that assist them in determining value of non-monetary contributions
  • When to use an LLC rather than a partnership structure - and other models that may work
  • Where to find equity-funding partners

We're bringing you  a truly stellar panel for this important topic - seasoned practitioners with realistic, hands-on advice.

Cal Rose is an attorney with Wright Lindsey Jennings whose practice encompasses real estate, private equity and secured transactions. Cal advises clients on legal and tax issues relating to entity formation, corporate governance, raising capital from private-equity investors, executive compensation, securities and a wide range of other business-related matters.

Jeff Amerine has been called the Hub of the Wheel for startups in NWA. He traded a full time position as Director of Technology Ventures at U of A to create Startup Junkie Consulting in 2011, helping entrepreneurs turn ideas into small business. Seeing a need for startup capital, Jeff founded the Tonic Regional Fund, a group of early-stage investors that co-invest with other venture capital firms in promising startups.

The world of financing is changing with a new administration. Join us to discover how you can make the most of this opportunity.

We love to hear from new people as well as our members.
