If it seems like the world has changed - it has! Covid-19 has had an impact and as builders we need to be aware of what buyers/tenants are looking for.

If it seems like the world has changed - it has! Covid-19 has had an impact and as builders we need to be aware of what buyers/tenants are looking for.

We've put together a Panel of Pros who can give you some insight as to new design/building trends and what the market is doing so when your brand new construction is complete, it won't also be obsolete! We'll discuss:

  • Designs for working/learning/living at home
  • Potential impact of long-term financial downturn
  • Multi-generational housing
  • Trends in senior housing
  • Implications from Covid on where people are buying

David McElyea is an investor, architect and past member of REI NWA. Using his architectural background in rehabbing to sell as well as hold, David has come up with some interesting designs for residential properties that appeal to young buyers/renters.

Bradley Edward is an architect who has designed everything from commercial to single and multi-family residential. From A-frame to 6-plexes, office buildings to small retail and all the Onyx restaurants, Bradley has placed his vision on many NWA spaces you'd recognize.

Meridy Roberts is co-owner of 12 Stone Construction and Design. 12 Stone started out rehabbing residential properties and moved on to building custom and spec houses. With her interior design background, Meridy keep her eye on consumer demand and new, popular trends in features and floor plans.

Join us to hear how we think Covid will change the way we live and learn
what new features and trends you'll be building to meet future demand. Prepare for changing times and how not to build obsolete housing.

We love to hear from new people as well as our members.

Let us know what's on your mind or what you'd like to see at REI NWA.
