We last checked in to the banking community in April. At that time, there were not a lot of changes. Well, that has sure changed! The coronavirus has added several layers to what was already a tight investor market in NWA.

We've put together a local Panel of Banking Pros to discuss the current state of lending, the reasons behind it and their outlook for future investing. They'll give you their insight on:

Sam Harris is Market President of Armstrong Bank, a community bank with locations in the Ft Smith area and NWA. Incredibly knowledgeable about the investor market in NWA, he has been a solid partner to many of our members involved in both residential and commercial projects.  

Miranda Gauthier is VP of Commercial Lending with Centennial Bank. After purchasing her first home in 2001, she became a mortgage loan originator and moved on to commercial lending where she manages a $35M loan portfolio. Miranda and her husband own a youth football league and she is an Ambassador for the Springdale Chamber.  

Jennifer Langhover is Branch Manager at Highlands Mortgage. She started her career with Lindsey, purchased Cornerstone Mortgage Group and has transitioned to running the Highlands office in Rogers. Exceptionally knowledgeable about the ever-changing loan programs, Jennifer is knows for personalized customer service.
